Indian Trail Spanish Class - 2021-2022 School Year

DAILY WORK AND PRACTICE: Assignments for Spanish Class are typically completed in class. When a student does not finish in class, they are encouraged to finish at home. On occasion, students are given outside practice that is due the next day.
Every student is encouraged to study their current vocabulary list and culture topic(s) on a regular basis.

Textbook Resources
The 7th and 8th grade students use the Autentico 1A as a textbook resource. The students access the digital program online using Savvas. This link provides students with practice on grammar and vocabulary related to the current chapter. The 7th graders will learn to describe themselves and others in chapter 1B. The 8th graders will learn to communicate what they do during the week as well as where they do these activities using chapter 4A. Speaking the language is extremely important in learning Spanish.
I encourage both students and parents to visit this website to reinforce some ESPAÑOL. Students can use their Savvas accounts to review with online flashcards. The textbook program also has a app that can be downloaded to practice vocabulary on a mobile phone. It is called Autentico in the App store. Parents can learn some ESPAÑOL as well!
