2020-2021 School Year

ASD4 Family,
Happy holidays and thank you for your perseverance with switching to full remote learning after the Thanksgiving holiday.  I appreciate your efforts to ensure a transition for our students that was as smooth as possible.  I have continued to monitor all conditions that affect the safety and operation of our schools.  The number of our employees and students who have been in contact with or have tested positive for COVID-19 continues to grow.  Despite all these cases occurring outside of our school district facilities, the impact of employee quarantine continues to directly impact our capacity to properly staff the in-person hybrid learning program.

We will continue with full remote learning following the winter break.  Our goal is to return to in-person hybrid/remote learning on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.  All school district employees are expected to work from school district facilities while our students are participating in remote learning.

I will continue to monitor and consider all the available data/information including the active cases involving our employees and students.  This information will contribute to future decisions that are made in January.  Please let me or your supervisor/school principal know if you have any questions.
I wish your family a safe and blessed holiday season.
Your Fearless Leader
